Yard and bake sale
FLEMINGTON -- St. Lukes’ United Church of Christ in Flemington will be having an Indoor Yard and Bake Sale Friday, May 3 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Sandwiches and yummy homemade desserts will be served for your dining pleasure.
Free tech class
HOWARD -- St. Mark Lutheran Church, 850 Snydertown Road, Howard, will host a free technology class covering online prescription drug resources at 11 a.m., Tuesday, May 7. The in-person class is led by Mid-State Literacy Council, which is partnering with Senior Planet from AARP to help people age 50 and older learn new online skills.
During the class on online prescription drug resources, participants will learn how to research, purchase and save on prescription drugs using online tools.

Spaghetti Dinner
McELHATTAN -- McElhattan Pathway to Christ Church, 502 McElhattan Drive, McElhattan, will hold a drive-thru spaghetti dinner on Saturday, April 13, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Cost is a donation with the meal including spaghetti and meat sauce, salad, bread and dessert.
Turkey Supper
Sugar Valley Church of the Brethren will be holding its annual turkey supper on April 13, from 4 to 7 p.m. (or until sold out). The meal will include roast turkey, mashed potatoes, filling, gravy, corn, green beans, cranberry sauce, dinner roll and dessert. This meal will be served as a take-out only. The cost of the meal will be a monetary donation.
Installing New Pastor
St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be installing Pastor Dave Miller as its new minister on Sunday, April 14. The Service of Installation will take place at St. Luke’s at 3 p.m. Refreshments and a time of fellowship will be held in the Fellowship Hall after the conclusion of the Installation Service.
Free Concert -- The Kramers
Beech Creek Wesleyan Church would like to extend an invitation to The Kramers in concert. The church will be hosting The Kramers Sunday, April 14, at 6 p.m. The Kramer's are a National and International Southern Gospel music family. They have been a part of the Gaither Fall Festival and National Quartet Convention. A few of their recent songs are "Sing Me There," "What the Soldiers Didn't See" and "The Hope of All Tomorrows." Crafting group open to all
LOCK HAVEN -- A new crafting group is open to everyone who wants to share in the fun and maybe gain a new skill. Covenant Crafters meets Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. in Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., and is open to the general public.
Projects will vary. The crafters are currently doing embroidery cards.

Singing About the Resurrected Christ!
BEECH CREEK -- Beech Creek Wesleyan Church will be hosting a Concert Series - Singing About the Resurrected Christ! This will include two concerts on two nights. The first will be The Kramers on Sunday, April 14, at 6 p.m. The Kramers maintain a high quality of musical excellence with an unquenchable passion to see people come to know Jesus Christ as Savior. The second concert will be The Nelons on Sunday, April 21, at 6 p.m. A concert with The Nelons leaves you encouraged by the message of hope shared from their hearts, warmed by the love of family you feel from the stage and inspired by the beauty, purity and majesty of each lyric they sing. A love offering will be received at each concert. The concerts are free and open to the public. We hope to provide a nice audience for The Kramers and The Nelons.

Spring Yard-N-Bake Sale
Curtin United Methodist Church, located at 305 Curtin Village Road, Howard, will have their Spring Yard-N-Bake Sale on April 19-20 - on Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be yummy treats, pies, homemade soups, hotdogs and sloppy joes. Ladies Day Out
LOCK HAVEN -- Hillview Wesleyan Church, 1200 W. 4th St., Lock Haven, will be holding its annual free Ladies Day Out on April 20 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
This free ladies day out is a relaxing and refreshing day. Get away from the busyness of life as you relax with friends, share laughter and stories and spend time with God. Join other women at the Ladies Day Out retreat to experience all this and more.
The event will include a light lunch and attendees will receive a goodie bag.
The theme is "How do you respond when the heat is on?"

Holy Moments in History
MILL HALL -- Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 111 Main St., Mill Hall invites the community to "Holy Moments in History," a series being conducted by Mike Palischak, a retired history teacher who loves history. The final meeting of the series will be on MAY 1 at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary. The May topic will be Abraham Lincoln. If you are a history buff or would like to know how faith in God has helped develop our country, stop by and listen. Mr. Palischak welcomes questions. Everyone is invited to this fascinating program. There is plenty of free parking to the rear of the church.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
MILL HALL -- Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church's Prayer Shawl Ministry will meet at the church at noon on Wednesday, May 1, for lunch and to view the creative items that are brought in each month. Needleworkers (those who crochet, knit or sew) are a critical part of the Prayer Shawl Ministry's outreach in providing hand-made items that are given to nursing home and personal care home residents and those in hospitals, etc.
Yarn is provided for the needleworkers to use, courtesy of local donations and a grant provided by the Clinton County Community Foundation.
New needleworkers are invited to put your creative talents of crocheting, knitting or sewing to good use with the Prayer Shawl Ministry each month. All skill levels are invited to attend. Coffee club & Youth Group
FLEMINGTON -- Flemington First Church of Christ, 714 Canal St., holds Coffee Club every Thursday morning from 8:30-10 a.m. Enjoy coffee and fellowship with others.
The church holds its Youth Group meetings on Thursdays from 6-8 p.m. The group is open to grades kindergarten through fourth and also fifth through twelfth. The meeting starts off each Thursday with a meal, followed by a lesson and game time. Call 570-726-8009 for more details.
