Learn how kids, adults

can read Bible together

LOCK HAVEN -- A new kind of family Bible study is offered Tuesday evenings at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Kids of all ages and their favorite adults are welcome to read and learn from the Bible together.

Parents, godparents, aunts, uncles and grandparents can use this course to share their faith with the children in their lives.

"Families Studying the Bible Together" is held Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in the church assembly room. Use the front door of the older, more formal section of the building. There is cafe seating, and a ramp entrance is available.

In the first few sessions, Pastor Justin Frear will cover strategies for families to share Bible readings so that both children and adults can understand the passages. He will then lead a study of the Book of Proverbs using these strategies. The study concludes sometime in June.

Bring a Bible, any translation. There is no fee. If more information is needed, please email Pastor Justin at jfrear@susumc.org or call 570-748-6481 and leave a message.
