Multiple local churches in and around Clinton County will be hosting Vacation Bible Schools in the coming weeks:
-- Cedar Heights Brethren in Christ Church invites you to join the construction crews as they follow God's blueprint to build lives on firm foundations. The VBS program will run from June 17 through June 19 from 6-8 p.m. nightly at the church located at 37 Cedar Heights, Mill Hall, on Route 64. "Built on the Rock" is for children from 3 years old through fifth grade. Each night, children will enjoy Bible stories, crafts, games, snacks and songs. Pre-registration is available. -- Beech Creek Wesleyan Church will have VBS each evening, Sunday, June 16, through Thursday, June 20, from 6-8 p.m. "On the Case" will feature Bible lessons, singing, crafts, snacks and more for children ages 3-teens. Beech Creek Wesleyan Church is located at 217 Main St. in Beech Creek. Preregister by contacting the church office at 570-962-2732.
-- Liberty Baptist Church in Blanchard will have Vacation Bible School from Sunday, June 23, through Friday, June 28. Get ready for a boatload of excitement during Ocean Commotion, where children will dive into learning about Noah and the worldwide flood of his day. Each evening begins with a free meal at 5:30 p.m. and concludes at 8 p.m. During this VBS for children ages 2 years old through sixth grade, you'll sniff the salty air and catch a glimpse of the endless blue sea! As the children explore the reason for that great watery commotion, we'll uncover important life lessons from Noah, who alone found favor in the eyes of God. We'll discover that, by God's grace, Noah stood for God (even when it meant standing alone), obeyed God, trusted God, thanked God in everything and feared God. -- Loganton Wesleyan Church is holding a week long VBS June 24-June 28, from 6-8 p.m. This year’s theme is “Building Rock-Solid Faith in Jesus” featuring Joseph and His Coat of Many Colors! Children and teens ages 4-19 are all invited, along with parents and grandparents that wish to join us! Each day features games, snacks, songs and crafts for all ages! Everyone is Welcome! -- Jersey Shore Assembly of God Church, 172 Main St., Antes Fort, will be having VBS on June 22 with registration from 12:30-1 p.m. There will be snacks, games and storytime.
-- Trinity Reformed Church in Hublersburg is having VBS July 7-11 from 6-8 p.m. Camp Firelight, A Summer Camp Adventure with God, will be the theme. Children can begin to learn the memory verse for the VBS week, Psalms 56:3. Children ages preschool to fifth grade (and parents) are invited each evening!
