Church yard sale
LOGANTON -- St. John's UCC of Tylersville, located at 3782 Narrows Road, Loganton, will be having a large church yard sale on July 12, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and July 13, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There's something for everyone! No early shopping or sales.
VBS in Jersey Shore
JERSEY SHORE --Jersey Shore Community Vacation Bible School will be held at the First United Methodist Church, 236 S. Main St., Jersey Shore, on Sunday, July 14-Thursday, July 18 from 6-8 p.m. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. Classes available for 3-12 years old.

Christians with Rhythm
HOWARD -- Community choir's annual summer concert performs "Take Me Back."
The Christians with Rhythm Choir, a choir featuring singers from various churches in the region, holds its annual summer concert at 6:30 p.m., on Saturday, July 13, at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 850 Snydertown Road, Howard. This year's concert is titled, "Take Me Back."
The concert features some old-time, toe-tapping hymns.
The concert is free with donations accepted that will go toward the choir's music ministry. Refreshments will be served following the concert.

Free Clothing
BELLEFONTE -- Light of the World Clothing Bank at St. John's United Church of Christ will be open on Friday, July 12, from 2:30-5 p.m., and on Saturday, July 13, from 9 a.m. to noon. The clothing bank is located in the basement of the church at 145 W. Linn St., Bellefonte. Clothing in sizes from infants to adults, along with bedding items, shoes, afghans and more are FREE for those who come! 814-355-4983 for info.
Lamar Lighthouse concerts
LAMAR -- Lamar Lighthouse Camp will be having concerts each Sunday evening at 7 p.m. in the campground's multi-purpose room. The public is invited to each of the free Sunday evening concerts. A love offering is taken during the evening. Indoor seating is provided for the concerts, or bring your lawn chairs for more comfortable seating.
The Itzels, a family group from Westminster, Md., will be performing on July 7. On July 14 The Craguns will be in concert and on July 21 Avenue Trio will take the stage.
Youth invited
FLEMINGTON -- Area youth are invited to Flemington First Church of Christ for a summer of fun! Youth and teens in grades 6-12 are invited to the church each Thursday evening from 6-8 p.m.
New Service Time
FARRANDSVILLE -- Effective July 7, 2024, People's United Methodist Church of Farrandsville will begin their services at 8:30 a.m. All are welcome to join us for services.
Boal Museum trip
MILL HALL -- For those who enjoyed Mike Palischak's special lecture on Christopher Columbus during one of the Holy Moments in Time presentations at Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church in Mill Hall, the church will be taking a group trip to the Christopher Columbus Chapel and the Boal Mansion Museum on July 10.
The trip will leave the church at 111 Main St., Mill Hall, at 1 p.m., and carpool to the chapel and the museum. The public is invited to come along. The tour will take about two hours and the entrance fee is $12 for each person.
A count of those who will be attending needs to be given to the tour guide, so please RSVP to Pastor Susan at the church at 570-726-4112. Leave a brief message on the church's answering machine of how many will be joining the group trip on July 10 along with your name and contact number.
Free movies
MILL HALL -- Living Faith Ministries will once again hold their Friday Night Movies. All movies are free and open to the community. We are located at 7175 Nittany Valley Drive in Mill Hall. Look for the big green sign in front of the church. There will be free food while supplies last. Bring you lawn chairs, blankets, family and enjoy a FREE night out!
5-Day Club
LOCK HAVEN -- First Baptist Church, 210 N. Vesper St., Lock Haven, is offering a 5-Day Club for children ages 5-12 (and their parents!) on July 8-12, from 6:30-8 p.m. each evening. Come and bring a friend to hear Bible lessons, enjoy songs and games, learn Bible memory verses and participate in fun activities where you can earn prizes.
