HOWARD -- Bargains and Blessings Community Closet will hold its final clothing sale of the season on Saturday, Oct. 19, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., in the fellowship hall of Faith Chapel United Methodist Church. The church is located at 551 Hunter Run Road, Howard, and the sale will be held rain or shine. Enter through the side door off the lower parking lot.
Gently used clothing, shoes and accessories are priced at $5 per bag, cash only, and bags are furnished. Sizes range from infants through 3X for the entire family. Free coffee, water and bagged snacks will be available.
Donations of good quality gently used clothing items may be dropped off at the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church, the Blanchard Church of Christ or the Howard United Methodist Church. In addition, items may be dropped off at Faith Chapel most Tuesday mornings between 9 a.m. and noon. Send an email to the address below to verify that the Faith Chapel donation site will be open or to make alternate arrangements.
Bargains and Blessings Community Closet is an outreach mission of Faith Chapel UMC that serves Beech Creek, Blanchard, Howard and surrounding areas. All proceeds go back into the community to help families in need, area schools and other worthwhile charities.
