MILL HALL -- Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church will be continuing their Holy Moments in History series on March 5 when retired history teacher Mike Palischak gives his lecture on Dwight D. Eisenhower. Nicknamed Ike, Eisenhower was baptized in 1953 shortly after becoming the 34th US President and joined the National Presbyterian Church. Eisenhower believed faith was a fundamental part of democracy.
The Holy Moments program starts at 10 a.m. in the church sanctuary and is free. Additional seminars featuring a different historical figure will be held on the first Wednesday of each month in April and May.
Bald Eagle UP Church is located at 111 Main St., Mill Hall, with plenty of free parking to the rear of the church.
