Spaghetti dinner
JERSEY SHORE -- Oriole Methodist Church, 39 Main Road, Jersey shore will be holding a dine-in or take out spaghetti dinner on Saturday, March 22 from 4 to 7 p.m.
Tickets cost $6.50 for adults, $4 for children ages 3 to 12 and children under 3 eat for free.
Donations needed
McELHATTAN -- The Pathway to Christ Church is taking donations in support of Sleep in Heavenly Peace in Lock Haven. They are collecting twin size sheet sets, twin mattress covers (must have zipper), pillows, blankets and throws. Drop off will be at Pathway To Christ Church, 502 McElhattan Drive, McElhattan Pa. Sticky Bun Sales
McELHATTAN -- The Pathway to Christ Church is taking orders for Sticky Buns that melt on your tongue. The pick up day will be March 15, after 11 a.m., at the church at 502 McElhattan Drive. Grief Support
LOCK HAVEN -- Community Grief Support is a new opportunity for men and women to gather and seek help together. The next meeting will be on March 11. The group will meet the second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 6-7 p.m. in the lounge of Covenant United Methodist Church, 44-46 W. Main St., Lock Haven.
The support group is free, confidential and open to anyone. There is no work book to follow and no end date. It is designed to become an established, long-term program.
Sharon Gensib and Pamela Brauchli are the facilitators. They will open each session but the discussion will go where the group takes it.
Pot Pie Fundraiser
WINGATE -- Wingate Faith Church is holding a ham and chicken pot pie sale on Monday, March 10, from 4 p.m. until sold out. Quarts of pot pie with bread samples will be $9 each. Place your pre-orders by calling Janette at 814-883-0893 anytime. Pickup is by drive-thru service in the church parking lot starting at 4 p.m. Walk-in sales are welcomed until they're all sold out! The church is located at 111 Runville Road, Bellefonte (which is just behind the Sheetz Store near the BEA High School).

Lenton Fish Fries
BELLEFONTE -- Bellefonte Friday Night Fish Fries at St. John's Catholic School (116 E. Bishop St.) will be on the following Fridays of Lent: March 14, March 21, March 28, April 4 and April 11. We will be open to the public from 4-7 p.m. The menu will consist of baked lemon pepper cod (GF), Yuengling beer battered Haddock or Panko Crusted Fried Shrimp, Choice of three sides: French fries, macaroni & cheese, stewed tomatoes, cole slaw, apple sauce and a homemade dessert. Ala carte items, including haluski and pierogies with butter and onions, will also be available. Eat in or take out; CASH ONLY. The cost is only $14 for adults; $7 for children under 12 and under 6 eat for free. Come experience Centre County's largest Fish Fry, prepared and served by the Bellefonte Knights of Columbus and Catholic Daughters of the America's.
Bible Study

Homemade Donut Sale
JERSEY SHORE -- Trinity United Methodist Church, 1407 Allegheny St., Jersey Shore, will have a fresh, homemade donut sale on Thursday, March 20. Donuts will be $7/dozen or $3.50/half dozen. It's best to call (Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.) and pre-order using 570-398-2913. Try to order as early as possible because Wednesday orders after 2 p.m. may be missed! Extra donuts are made and available for walk-in sales beginning at 7 a.m. on March 20. The sale will continue until 4 p.m. unless sold out earlier. Use the Glover Street entrance for pickups.
Trombone Concert
HOWARD -- Howard United Methodist Church will host the Penn State Trombones in a mini-concert at 9 a.m. on Sunday, March 16. The Penn State musical students will be playing during the church service this Sunday since they weren't able to come last week because of the icy roads. Come hear the students playing and drop a few dollars into their trombone case to encourage them and to help with their expenses.

Luncheon until the fall
HOWARD -- Howard United Methodist Church, 144 W. Main St., Howard, will sponsor a community soup sale on Thursday, March 20, from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Eat in or take out. Soups available are vegetable beef, ham and bean, chicken corn and chicken noodle. Quarts for take out should be preordered by the Sunday prior to luncheon. Hymn Sing
