LOCK HAVEN -- With Easter Sunday nearing, The Express community newspaper has compiled a list of area services for Palm Sunday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Easter Sunday which were submitted by local churches.

SATURDAY, APRIL 12
-- St. Agnes Church, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, Blessing of the Palms and solemn procession, 5 p.m.
PALM SUNDAY
-- Join the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church on Sunday, April 13, at 9 a.m., for their Palm Sunday celebration featuring their children's Easter program.
-- Join the congregation at Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church on Palm Sunday at 9 a.m. for the children and teens special re-enactment of "The Last Supper." The program will also include foot washing, readings and songs. The church is located at 417 Summit Hill Road, Howard. MAUNDY THURSDAY, April 17:
-- Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church will have a Maundy Thursday candlelight service with an agape meal on Thursday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m. Public is invited, reservations appreciated. Please call the church at 570-726-4112 and leave a message of your plans to attend.
-- Pathway to Christ Church in McElhattan will have a Maundy Thursday service at 6 p.m.
-- Rote Church will have Maundy Thursday service at 7 p.m.
-- Immaculate Conception Church, 7 p.m., Mass of the Lord's Supper
-- Antes Fort Global Methodist Church, Main Street, Antes Fort, 6 p.m.
GOOD FRIDAY
SERVICES
-- Rote and Salona United Methodist Churches invite the public to join them for their second annual Cross Walk service. Meet at Long Run Park at 7 a.m. The walk will end at the Rote Church. Also, a Good Friday evening service will be held at 7 p.m., at the Rote United Methodist Church.
-- Pathway to Christ Church in McElhattan invites the public to join them for their Cross Walk at 6 a.m. Meet in the church parking lot. The church will also have a Good Friday evening service at 6 p.m.
-- A combined Good Friday Service for Farrandsville, Dunnstown and Swissdale United Methodist Churches will be held at the People's United Methodist Church of Farrandsville on April 18 at 7 p.m. For info call Carol at 570-748-9667.

EASTER SERVICES
-- On Sunday, April 20, Beech Creek Wesleyan Church will have a sunrise service at their church pavilion at 7 a.m., followed by their Easter morning service at 9 a.m. featuring the church choir.
-- Easter Sunrise Services will be held at Dunnstown United Methodist Church at 7 a.m. with church to follow at 9:30 a.m. for Swissdale United Methodist Church and Farrandsville UM Church. For info call Carol at 570-748-9667.
