Mill Hall United Presbyterian Church invites community to visit
Trending
MILL HALL -- Mill Hall United Presbyterian is a little brick church on the corner of Main Street in Mill Hall. As a matter of fact, the address is 111 Main St.
The church offers a very traditional church service. Services are not too long, and not too short. They're just right!
The church has a woman pastor, which must be okay because she has been there for 19 years now. Pastor Susan Champion's messages contain stories that coincide with the Bible scriptures.
The stories are fun to listen to and make the scriptures easier to understand and then apply to our daily lives.
The Apostles Creed is repeated by the congregation each week. This encourages us to remember what we believe and why we do what we do. The Lord's Prayer is also prayed together as a family of God.
Old fashioned hymns are sung each week. You know the ones... the familiar ones, like "The Old Rugged Cross."
Going to church services is like going to the well to get refreshed. Life is hard... and weekly trips to the well are needed. Come to the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church and be fed at the well. All denominations are welcome to worship with us.
Sunday School is at 9:25 a.m., followed by the Sunday morning worship service at 10:30 a.m.
They have the coffee on, and maybe a sweet treat waiting in the kitchen. The church is handicapped accessible, with a wheelchair ramp to the rear of the building, along with plenty of free parking.
For spiritual guidance, please feel free to contact Pastor Susan Champion at 570-726-4112. The church also has a Facebook page that lists weekly activities and other helpful information.
