Bible Study
LOCK HAVEN -- God's Eternal Life Church at 30 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven, is holding weekly Bible studies each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The topic will be Thru the Bible Word for Word. Summer Concert Series
LAMAR -- Lamar Lighthouse Camp will be hosting their Summer Concert series each Sunday evening at 6 p.m. Each of the concerts is free and open to the public. A love offering is taken each week to further the ministry of both the groups performing and Lamar Lighthouse Camp. On June 15 the Itzels will be performing and on June 22 the Needhams. The Cragun Family will be in concert on June 29.

Helping Hands
McELHATTAN -- The Pathway to Christ Church is excited and proud to announce the onset of another great project as they take on assisting the Evangelical Lutheran Church with their "Helping Hands" mission.
Congregation members will be collecting items such as toilet paper, paper towels, toothpaste, cleaning products, laundry detergent, dental care, trash bags, hair care items, body and hand soap, dish detergent and more.
The collections will end in June and will be delivered to the Evangelical Lutheran Church. If someone is unable to go out to shop for items to donate, the church will gladly accept monetary donations to do the shopping for you.
Meet and Greet
LOCK HAVEN -- Walnut Street Church of Christ, 714 W. Walnut St., Lock Haven, is having a "Meet and Greet" on June 14 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Refreshments will be served, and all are welcome. Come see the church building, have some refreshments and meet the minister.

VBS at Cedar Heights
MILL HALL -- The Cedar Heights Brethren in Christ Church invites local kids to join them to learn about how Jesus deals with our messes, sins, mistakes and weaknesses.
The Vacation Bible School program will run from June 16 through June 18 from 6 to 8 p.m. nightly at the church, 37 Cedar Heights, Mill Hall, on Route 64.
Vacation Bible School is for children from 3 years through fifth grade. Each night children will enjoy Bible stories, crafts, games, snacks and songs. Pre-registration is available.

BC Wesleyan VBS
BEECH CREEK -- Beech Creek Wesleyan Church Vacation Bible School will be held June 15-19 from 6-8 p.m. each evening.
The program is open to children ages three through teens. This year's theme is "Know It and Grow It Farm." The church has lots of exciting activities planned, including songs, Bible lessons, foam and fun, plus some surprises!

Pork Dinner
RENOVO -- First Renovo Church will have a Pulled Pork Dinner on Monday June 16, from 4 to 6 p.m. The drive up dinner will include a pork sandwich, macaroni salad, baked beans, pepper slaw, Bbq sauce and cake for $12. (Note: BBQ and Slaw come on the side) Please call and order ahead from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at 570-923-1313. Although not needed, pre-orders are appreciated. Please enter from 8th Street and come to the back porch of the church between 4 and 6 p.m. to pick up your orders!
Blood Drives
Wingate Faith Church is sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive at the church on June 17 from 12:30-6 p.m. The church is located at 111 Runville Road, Bellefonte, which is directly behind the Sheetz store near the BEA High School.
Flemington First Church of Christ will be hosting a blood drive at the church on June 20 from 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
St. Luke's rededication ceremony
FLEMINGTON -- St. Luke's United Church of Christ at 1175 W. 4th St., Flemington, will hold a rededication of their newly remodeled church on June 22, during their 10:45 a.m. worship service. This rededication service will be held exactly 53 years after the former church was damaged during Hurricane Agnes on June 22, 1973. The former church was located in downtown Lock Haven at the current Triangle Park. Refreshments will be served after the service.
Vacation Bible School
BELLEFONTE -- Howdy, partners! It's that time of year again... time for Vacation Bible School at Zion Community Church, 3261 Zion Road, Bellefonte.
This year kids will travel to Wonder Junction! There is no greater joy than to praise the name of the Lord all day long... let's learn more about who Jesus is and what He has done!

Organ recital
STATE COLLEGE -- Guest artist Dr. David Billings will be featured in an organ recital at Grace Lutheran Church, State College, on Saturday, June 21, at 3 p.m.
The program is a tribute to retired Penn State Professor Dr. June Miller and her long career of organ teaching and performance. Dr. Billings is a Penn State alumnus and holds a DMA from the Eastman School of Music.
Rocket Racers VBS
BLANCHARD -- Faith Baptist Church in Blanchard will host Vacation Bible School from June 23-27 for children ages four through teens. Rocket Racers, get on track with our powerful God is the theme for the VBS that will be held each evening from 6-8:15 p.m. All local children are invited to attend. Two nights during the week local racers will visit and there will be other special activities.
Grief Support
LOCK HAVEN -- Community Grief Support is a new opportunity for men and women to gather and seek help together. The next meeting will be on June 24. The group will meet the second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 6-7 p.m. in the lounge of Covenant United Methodist Church, 44-46 W. Main St., Lock Haven.
The support group is free, confidential and open to anyone. There is no work book to follow and no end date. It is designed to become an established, long-term program.
Sharon Gensib and Pamela Brauchli are the facilitators. They will open each session but the discussion will go where the group takes it.
