A vendor spot will cost $25. You’ll need to bring your own tables and shade canopies. Food will also be available in the church social hall during the vendor fair. The church wants to have a parking lot full of craft vendors and small business vendors for this sale. The church is located at 502 McElhattan Drive, McElhattan. For more info on reserving a spot for the craft fair send an email to BJ at bpeters388@comcast.net.
Over the next several months, members of the Pathway to Christ Church will be collecting pill bottles, removing (using WD40) the perscription labels, washing them thoroughly to make sure all of the label and sticky residue has been removed and then sending the clean bottles and caps to M2M in Blue Ash, Ohio.
The church would like to find someone who may be traveling close to the area of Blue Ash, Ohio, who would be willing to drop off a big box or two of pill bottles so that the expense of mailing them isn’t needed. If you are going to be traveling in that area please reach out to the church office.
Matthew 25 Ministries accepts the donations of clean, empty, recapped plastic pill bottles for inclusion in shipments of medical supplies. For more info visit Matthew 2 Ministries.
Pathway to Christ Church is also collecting boxes of Cheerios that will be given to the Jersey Shore Care and Share food pantry at St. John Lutheran Church. The food pantry has a goal to get 900 boxes of Cheerios before the end of October.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
MILL HALL — Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church’s Prayer Shawl Ministry meeting was held on Aug. 6 beginning at noon. We welcomed a new member to the PSM club, Cindy. Cindy lives in Lock Haven and likes to crochet, so she will be a wonderful asset to our group of needleworkers. More needleworkers, those who crochet or knit, are invited to join the PSM group that meets the first Wednesday of each month at noon.
August and September have been declared as Scrap-afghan months. Our needleworkers will be using scraps and partial skeins of yarn in many different colors to create afghans and lap robes.
Donations of yarn and money are needed and accepted at the church for the needleworkers to continue their talent of creating beautiful pieces that are then donated to those in need.
The church has a ramp and is handicap accessible and is located at 111 Main St., in Mill Hall, with plenty of free parking to the rear of the church. Call Pastor Susan at the church office at 570-726-4112 for more info on the Prayer Shawl Ministry.
Our group of Prayer Shawl Ministry needleworkers entered some of their creations in the Clinton County Fair and were pleasantly surprised with the ribbons that we were awarded. Seven ladies entered their creations and won first, second and third place ribbons along with premium money. The ladies graciously donated their prize money to the PSM to be able to purchase more yarn for the needleworkers to use.
The needleworkers are going strong in August and September to make as many prayer shawls, lap robes and small afghans as they can that will all be donated to area hospitals and nursing homes during the annual Knit N’ Run held the first Saturday in October.
