Yarn Collection
MARSH CREEK — Marsh Creek Brethren in Christ Church is collecting new and used yarn that will be donated to the Prayer Shawl Ministry for their needleworkers to use. Three ladies of the church are actively involved with the Prayer Shawl Ministry and are leading the campaign to collect as much yarn as they can during the month of September.
Yarn can come in the form of new skeins purchased from a local venue, partial skeins or even small balls or scraps of yarn that people may have stored. Even unfinished projects that we can tear out or add to can be used, as long as the yarn is clean and free of smoke or other harsh smells.
Marsh Creek BIC Church invites other churches and individuals of the area to collect yarn and bring it (or call for pick-up) for delivery to the Prayer Shawl Ministry in the Mill Hall area.
