LOCK HAVEN — Area churches are inviting members of the community to join them for their Ash Wednesday service, as many in the area gear up for Lent and, subsequently, the Easter Holiday.

The Express will run Ash Wednesday services one more time on Tuesday, Feb. 17. If you would like to see your church’s information included, please email news@lockhaven.com or call 570-748-6791.

The following Ash Wednesday services have been announced so far:

— Laurel Run Church, 2899 Laurel Run Road, Beech Creek, 6 p.m.

— Mill Hall United Methodist Church, 212 S. Water St., Mill Hall, 4 p.m.

— St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 112 E. Main St., Lock Haven. Service is at 12 p.m. followed by Ashes to Go from 1 to 2 p.m.
