Bible Study

LOCK HAVEN — God’s Eternal Life Church, 30 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven, is holding weekly Bible studies each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The topic will be Thru the Bible Word for Word. We’re up to the book of Romans now, and will be learning about the meaning of the New Covenant. Please feel free to join our Bible Studies.

Church services are also held on Sunday mornings at 10 a.m. All are welcome. Pastor Dean Williams can be reached at 570-748-3700.

Late Night Luau

BLANCHARD — The Blanchard Church of Christ is offering a Late Night Luau on Saturday, May 30, from 6:30-10:30 p.m., for 6-12th graders and 2026 graduates! This luau will feature a speaker and worship time, obstacle course, high drop slide, ice cream extravaganza, games and lots of epic prizes. The event is free and you should bring your own towel(s) and prepare to get wet and spray foamed. Swimsuits should be conservative and Grandma Ethel approved. You can change into dry clothes.

Church Yard Sale

ANTES FORT — During the Antes Fort Community Yard Sales, Saturday, May 30, the Antes Fort Methodist Church, corner of Fourth and Main Streets, Antes Fort, will have an Indoor Yard Sale / Food Sale beginning at 7 a.m. Food Items include baked goods, hot dogs, kraut dogs, chili dogs, mac and cheese, breakfast sandwiches and Mr. Sticky’s sticky buns. Proceeds support local ministries.

“Breathing in Christ”

SNYDERTOWN — Join Deacon Marsha Roscoe, spiritual director, coach and author of Breathing in Christ: Experiencing Jesus in an Exhausting World, for a guided, grace-filled morning designed to help you slow down, reconnect and rediscover a more life-giving rhythm. The free event will be on Saturday, May 30, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m., at St. Mark Lutheran Church, 850 Snydertown Road, Howard. Books will be available for purchase following the event for a donation of $20, with all proceeds supporting The Charles Bruce Foundation and its work with those experiencing homelessness. Cash, check and credit card accepted.

Roscoe serves as assistant to the bishop in the Lower Susquehanna Synod of the ELCA, where she leads initiatives in spiritual wellness, leadership development and communications. She is the founder of Breathing in Christ, a ministry devoted to helping people reconnect with God, themselves and their daily lives through simple, Christ-centered practices. With more than 20 years of ministry experience, she brings an accessible and pastoral approach to faith and wellbeing guiding others from exhaustion toward wholeness, one small, grace-filled step at a time.

Parish Raffle

LOCK HAVEN — Holy Spirit Parish is hosting its 2026 “Together We Stand” Cash Raffle, offering 16 cash prizes, including a $25,000 grand prize. Tickets are $20 each and are available at the parish office, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon, or after Mass. The drawing will be held May 31. Holy Spirit Parish Fair

LOCK HAVEN — Get ready to celebrate as the Holy Spirit Parish Fair kicks off on Thursday, June 4, and runs to Saturday, June 6, at the St. Agnes Church grounds, 3 E. Walnut St., Lock Haven. The event will run from 5 to 9 p.m. each day.

This outstanding event features great food, baked goods, theme baskets, fun games and much more! A new band will perform each night for your listening pleasure.

Gospel Concert

LOGANTON — St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 10 W. Main St., Loganton, will present the Fishers of Men in concert at the church on Sunday, May 31, beginning at 9 a.m. The public is invited to attend the free concert.
