LOCK HAVEN -- Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, has announced the schedule for its 2026 Walk by Faith program, beginning June 3.
The program will run each Wednesday at 6 p.m. until Oct. 28, weather permitting.
The walks are in seven different locations, are off road and away from traffic and take approximately an hour or less.
Participants can walk at their own pace, get lots of fresh air and fellowship with one another while enjoying the beauty of God's creation.
Walkers do not need to register -- just show up on the scheduled dates and bring a friend. Questions can be directed to Fran Decker at 570-748-4302 or 570-263-2084.
Below is a list of dates and locations for each walk:
-- Week 1: Kick Off, Wednesday, June 3: New Woodward Township walkway. Meet at the church to walk across the Jay Street bridge and on the walkway and back.
-- Week 2: Wednesday, June 10, levee. Meet at the church.
-- Week 3: Wednesday, June 17, Riverview Park, Woodward Township. Meet at the park.
-- Week 4: Wednesday, June 24, Pine Creek Rails to Trails. Meet in the parking lot at Jersey Shore.
-- Week 5: Wednesday, July 1, Wayne Township Nature Park in McElhattan. Meet at the pavilion on the left.
-- Week 6: Wednesday, July 8, Bald Eagle Valley Trail. Meet at the former train station.
-- Week 7: Wednesday, July 15, McElhattan Old River Road. Meet in the parking lot.
-- Week 8: Wednesday, July 22, Woodward Township Walkway. Meet at the church to walk across the Jay Street bridge and on the walkway and back.
-- Week 9: Wednesday, July 29, levee. Meet at the church.
-- Week 10: Wednesday, Aug. 5, Riverview Park, Woodward Township. Meet at the park.
-- Week 11: Wednesday, Aug. 12, Pine Creek Rails to Trails. Meet in the parking lot at Jersey Shore.
