Bible Study
LOCK HAVEN — God’s Eternal Life Church, 30 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven, is holding weekly Bible studies each Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. The topic will be Thru the Bible Word for Word. We’re up to the book of Romans now, and will be learning about the meaning of the New Covenant. Please feel free to join our Bible Studies.

Summer Concerts
LAMAR — Lamar Lighthouse Camp will be having their Summer Concert Series each Sunday evening through Sept. 27. All of the concerts begin at 6 p.m. and are free, with a love offering taken during the service.
The Itzels will be performing on June 14, followed by The Needhams on June 21. Rounding out the month will be Williamson Branch on June 28.

Walk by Faith
LOCK HAVEN — Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven, has announced the schedule for its 2026 Walk by Faith program.
The program will run each Wednesday at 6 p.m. until Oct. 28, weather permitting.
Walk at your own pace, get lots of fresh air and fellowship with one another while enjoying the beauty of God’s creation. Just show up on the scheduled dates and bring a friend. Questions can be directed to Fran Decker at 570-263-2084.

Galaxy Express
BEECH CREEK — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church will hold Vacation Bible School on Sunday, June 14, through Thursday, June 19, from 6-8 p.m. Galaxy Express will have out of this World fun as we learn about the greatness of God! There are activities planned for children ages three

Blood Drives
Local churches will be hosting blood drives over the next several weeks. Blood donors of all types are invited to participate. To find a blood drive being held near you visit the American Red Cross website.
Blood drives will be held on the following dates:
June 16 from 12-5:30 p.m. at Wingate Faith Church, Runville Road, Bellefonte.
June 19 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Flemington First Church of Christ, Mill Hall.
Pathway News
MCELHATTAN — Pathway to Christ Church has Bible Study every Tuesday night from 6:30-7:30 p.m., in the social hall at Pathway to Christ Church, 502 McElhattan Drive, McElhattan. Everyone is welcome to join us to study the word and share good fellowship together.
The church is partnering with Wayne Township in celebrating the 250th Anniversary of Independence. Wayne Township and the church will be offering 3D wooden 250th Anniversary ornaments for $7 each or 2/$12.
Pathway to Christ Church invites you to be a volunteer with their congregation members at the Food Bank in Williamsport. Carpooling is available from the church parking lot, leaving at 4:30 p.m. We help at the food bank that is held on the third Thursday of each month, so that would be on June 18. Helping Hands
LOCK HAVEN — Helping Hands will be open on Wednesday, June 17, from 6-7:30 p.m., at the United Evangelical Lutheran Church, behind Kentucky Fried Chicken, in Lock Haven. Helping Hands provides free cleaning supplies and personal hygiene items to low income families and seniors in the Lock Haven and surrounding area. Mobile Food Pantry
BEECH CREEK — Beech Creek Wesleyan Church will host the New Love Center’s Mobile Food Pantry on Thursday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Individuals are invited to come into the church for a short pre-registration before obtaining the free food. Bring along any small boxes or reusable bags that you might have for transporting your food items in lieu of using the pantry’s supply of plastic bags.
Sing Along
LOCK HAVEN — Enjoy a Sing-Along with the Twisted Racquet Tears from 2-4 p.m. on June 21 at Covenant United Methodist Church, 44 W. Main St., Lock Haven. This event is part of the Alzheimer’s Association’s Longest Day celebration to bring awareness to the disease. A free-will offering will be taken and a basket raffle will be held to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Association. Call Fran at 570-263-2084 for more info. The church has free parking and a handicap accessible ramp.
Summer Outdoor
Concerts Series
SNYDERTOWN — St. Mark Lutheran Church’s Summer Outdoor Concert series returns Friday, June 26. The monthly series features music from local and regional musicians playing under the pavilion at St. Mark, 850 Snydertown Road, Howard
On Friday, June 26, singer/songwriter Mike Weyrauch will return for a second consecutive year. Weyrauch plays popular and praise music and has performed in popular area venues such as 814 Cider Works and Shy Bear Brewery. The evening begins at 6 p.m. with food and the fire pit started to roast hot dogs, Smores and more. Music begins at 6:30 p.m. You are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket, food to share if you like and are able, and to just enjoy some music and time with those of our community.
If there is rain, the concert will be moved indoors.
The other summer concerts this year are Woody Wolfe, Jr. returning to St. Mark on July 17 and Fishers of Men, who are performing for the first time at St. Mark on Aug. 14.

Root beer floats
FLEMINGTON — St. Luke’s United Church of Christ in Flemington will be holding a Red Cross Blood Drive, at the church, on Tuesday, Aug. 25. Walk-ins are welcome, or you may schedule an appointment on the Red Cross Website at www.redcrossblood.org. St. Luke’s will be serving its world famous root beer floats.
Cookbook Sale
BEECH CREEK — Laurel Run Church, 2899 Laurel Run Road, Beech Creek, has created a beautiful family cookbook with many shared and loved recipes. Prayer Shawl Ministry
MILL HALL — The Prayer Shawl Ministry needleworkers will meet on Wednesday, July 1, at noon, at the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 111 Main St., Mill Hall. The public is invited to come and meet the needleworkers and to see the many items that have been created over the last month. Anyone who would like to learn to crochet or knit is also invited to join us for our meeting and our skilled needleworkers will be glad to coach and encourage you in your learning process. A light lunch will be provided for those who attend the meeting.
The PSM accepts new and used yarn as well as money or gift cards to be used to buy new skeins of yarn. Donations can be left under the ramp at the rear of the building or by calling Pastor Susan at the church office at 570-726-4112.
