Last week my brother in Christ and fellow shepherd, Don Grant, wrote a challenging article, published in this paper, titled “Progressive Christianity… five counterfeit truths.” Don’s article and the five counterfeits he exposed illustrate the great need for discernment in the church of Jesus Christ. Recently, I attended a priests’ conference where one of the professors spoke to us of some interesting scientific findings concerning the possibility of life on other planets. I have always enjoyed speculating on the science fiction theories of multiple life forms on many distant worlds. Here is part of what I learned was missing in my knowledge of life.
