Central Mountain High School had their prom on May 14, 2022. The theme for the prom was enchanted forest. They had it in the gym at the high school with fairy lights hanging up and tapestries hanging on the walls. The entire dance was from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. Many kids were there around 6:30 p.m. for pictures outside of the building and from 8-9 p.m. the school had a photobooth for kids to pay $5 to get their own pictures taken inside. We decided to interview some kids on their prom experience and this is what they said.
We asked Olivia Toner “Who did you go to prom with or who did you hangout with?”
She said, “I went to prom alone but I hung out with my friends Lane and Nova.”
We also asked her how her overall experience was and what her favorite part was.
She said, “She said she wished they played more slow songs and her favorite part was everything about it.”
The next person we decided to interview was Jordan Donahay because he’s a sophomore and it was his first prom. We also asked him who he went with and he said, “I went with my girlfriend Kaylee Lukehart.”
We decided to ask him how his overall experience was and what his favorite part of prom was.
Jordan said, “I enjoyed getting to hang out with all of my friends and dancing with them, and my favorite part was everyone’s energy in the room.”
The last person we chose to interview was Nathan Akeley because he was one of the most enthusiastic people at prom.
Of course we asked him who he went to prom with and he said, “I went to prom with Ethan Hall.”
Then we asked him what his experience was like for his first prom and what his favorite part was.
He replied, “My favorite part was dancing like no one was watching and all of the sparkling decorations.”
