Clinton County unchanged; Centre adds seven cases of COVID-19
Clinton County did not add any new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Since the outbreak first began there have been 128 total cases of COVID-19 in the county. Of those 113 are confirmed and 15 are probable. So far 2,958 people have tested negative to the virus.
Centre County saw an increase of seven cases with 362 considered confirmed and 44 probable, the department said.
Lycoming County saw an increase of four with 429 confirmed cases and 27 probable, the department of health said.
Statewide, 570 new cases were reported, increasing the total to 126,149 since the outbreak first began.
The Department of Health reported 7,523 deaths on Wednesday, an increase of 24 from the previous day. In Clinton County, there have been five confirmed deaths. The health department has reported 11 deaths for Centre County and 20 in Lycoming County.
An estimated 79 percent of patients – about 99,657 people – with the virus have recovered, according to the department.
A total of 1,368,318 patients in Pennsylvania have tested negative for COVID-19.
