Clinton unchanged; Centre adds 2 cases of COVID-19
No new cases of COVID-19 were added in Clinton County on Wednesday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Since the outbreak first began there have been 130 total cases of COVID-19 in the county. Of those 115 are confirmed and 15 are probable. So far 3,282 people have tested negative to the virus.
Centre County increased by two cases with 383 confirmed and 46 probable, the department said.
Lycoming County added six new cases with 471 confirmed and 27 probable, the department of health said.
Statewide, 501 new cases were reported, increasing the total to 130,536 since the outbreak first began.
The Department of Health reported 7,624 deaths on Wednesday, an increase of 19 from the previous day. In Clinton County, there have been five confirmed deaths. The health department has reported 11 deaths for Centre County and 22 in Lycoming County.
An estimated 81 percent of patients – about 105,734 people – with the virus have recovered, according to the department.
A total of 1,457,642 patients in Pennsylvania have tested negative for COVID-19.
