Clinton up 1; Centre adds 9 COVID-19 cases
One new case of COVID-19 was reported in Clinton County on Friday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Since the outbreak first began there have been 132 total cases of COVID-19 in the county. Of those 117 are confirmed and 15 are probable. So far 3,446 people have tested negative to the virus.
Centre County increased by nine cases with 396 confirmed and 46 probable, the department said.
Lycoming County added three new cases with 477 confirmed and 28 probable, the department of health said.
Statewide, 835 new cases were reported, increasing the total to 131,991 since the outbreak first began.
The Department of Health reported 7,655 deaths on Friday, an increase of 20 from the previous day. In Clinton County, there have been five confirmed deaths. The health department has reported 11 deaths for Centre County and 22 in Lycoming County.
An estimated 81 percent of patients – about 106,912 people – with the virus have recovered, according to the department.
A total of 1,488,835 patients in Pennsylvania have tested negative for COVID-19.
