Clinton up 4; Centre adds 32 COVID-19 cases
Four new case of COVID-19 were reported in Clinton County and Centre saw an increase of 32 cases over the weekend, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Since the outbreak first began there have been 241 total cases of COVID-19 in Clinton County.
Centre’s current total stands at 3,719 cases throughout the county, the department said.
Lycoming County added 15 new cases bringing the total to 888, the department of health said.
Statewide, numbers have seen a significant decrease with 1,103 new cases reported, increasing the total to 183,315 since the outbreak first began.
The Department of Health reported 8,500 deaths over the weekend, an increase of 26. In Clinton County, there have been six confirmed deaths. The health department has reported 15 deaths for Centre County and 29 in Lycoming County.
An estimated 80 percent of patients – about 146,652 people – with the virus have recovered, according to the department.
A total of 2,143,966 patients in Pennsylvania have tested negative for COVID-19.
