Clinton up 7; Centre adds 45 COVID-19 cases over weekend
Over the weekend seven new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Clinton County and Centre saw an increase of 45 cases on Monday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health.
Since the outbreak first began there have been 284 total cases of COVID-19 in Clinton County.
Centre’s current total stands at 4,317 cases throughout the county, the department said.
Lycoming County added 19 new cases over the weekend bringing the total to 1,014, the department of health said.
Statewide, numbers saw another significant increase with 3,969 new cases reported over the weekend, increasing the total to 211,996 since the outbreak first began.
The Department of Health reported 8,823 deaths on Monday. In Clinton County, there have been seven confirmed deaths. The health department has reported 19 deaths for Centre County and 32 in Lycoming County.
An estimated 76 percent – 161,116 people – have recovered from the virus, the department reported.
A total of 2,338,664 patients in Pennsylvania have tested negative for COVID-19.
