Yesterday’s storm has lead to hundreds of Clinton County residents waking up without power Friday morning.
According to PPL’s Outage Center, outages have been reported throughout the county, from Bald Eagle Township and the Farrandsville areas, Woodward Township to McElhattan, Dunnstown and other regions. The cause for each report is listed as “weather” or “trees down on wires.”
Crews from PPL are on-site various locations attempting to get power back on for its customers.
A breakdown of the outages, as of 9:30 a.m. Thursday morning, goes like this:
– The biggest portion of reported outages is in the area of Courdersport Pike. According to PPL’s Outage Center, 313 customers are affected, with an estimated repair time to be 11 a.m.
– 93 customers near Swissdale are reportedly without power with crews already sent out to make repairs.
– 51 customers along Farrandsville Road, in the area of Queens Run Road have been affected by outages. Repairs are estimated to be complete by 11 a.m.
– In the village of Farrandsville, roughly 64 customers are without power. According to the Outage Center, crews were sent to make repairs, which should be complete about 3:30 p.m.
– About 102 homes are affected by an outage in the area of Sugar Run Road between Stahl Lane and Yost Road. According to the Outage Center, the cause is tree limbs on wires. Crews are onsite with an estimated repair time of 3 p.m.
Other, smaller, groupings of outages were reported in McElhattan, Woolrich and the Lock Haven area.
