Yesterday's storm has lead to hundreds of Clinton County residents waking up without power Friday, even has the day draws to a close.
According to PPL's Outage Center, outages have been reported throughout the county, from Bald Eagle Township and the Farrandsville areas, Woodward Township to McElhattan, Dunnstown and other regions. The cause for each report is listed as "weather" or "trees down on wires."
Crews from PPL are on-site various locations attempting to get power back on for its customers.
And although some power has been restored to area residents, others remain in the dark.
A breakdown of the outages, as of 5 p.m. Thursday morning, goes like this:
- 70 estimated customers near Swissdale are reportedly without power with crews already sent out to make repairs. These repairs have been taking place all day, to remove trees from wires. A new estimated time of completion is set at 11 p.m.
- 51 customers along Farrandsville Road, in the area of Queens Run Road have been affected by outages. Repairs are estimated to be complete by 11 p.m.
- In the village of Farrandsville, roughly 64 customers are without power. According to the Outage Center, crews were sent to make repairs, which should be complete about 11 p.m.
Other, smaller, groupings of outages were reported in McElhattan, Woolrich and the Lock Haven area.
