The Clinton County Department of Emergency Services is recommending residents along Spruce Run Road in Lamar Township and Greene Township shelter in place as authorities search for a robbery suspect in the area.

“Police are searching for a robbery suspect in the area described as a white male, brown hair, 5’9” tall, 1701bs. Suspect may be armed,” the department said.

The suspect is believed to be on foot and wearing blue jeans with no other clothing descriptions available as of 4:30 p.m.

If this man is seen, the department asks residents to dial 9-1-1.

Portions of the roadway have been blocked off as law enforcement and other emergency service personnel continue the search.
