LOCK HAVEN – The Clinton County Department of Emergency Services has announced residents are again able to dial 9-1-1 in the event of an emergency.
Phone lines were down since Thursday evening, following a brutal thunderstorm that ripped through the area. The outage stretched into Friday until about 1 p.m. and effected other, non-emergency lines as well.
“The phone issue affecting regional 9-1-1 centers including Clinton County has been resolved. All Clinton County 9-1-1 and non-emergency phone lines have been restored to normal operation at this time,” a release from the department said Friday afternoon.
