The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Central Pennsylvania, effective until 10 p.m. Friday.
Upward of 4 inches of snow – with locally higher amounts – is forecast to fall in Clinton and surrounding counties starting overnight Thursday.
Keep an eye out for reports of school closings or delays tonight and Friday morning.
“Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the (Friday) morning commute all over the region, and perhaps the evening commute in the Lower Susquehanna Valley,” the NWS said.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission remind motorists to adjust speeds based on driving conditions as winter weather impacts will include snow covered roads and limited visibility.
