LOCK HAVEN – With a snowstorm in Clinton County’s future, the City of Lock Haven has declared a snow emergency in certain areas of downtown Lock Haven beginning Monday, Feb. 12 at 6 p.m.
According to a release from the Lock Haven City Police Department, the emergency will end on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 12 p.m.
“By order of the Chief of Police, free parking will be provided in all city-owned off-street metered parking lots in the downtown on Monday, Feb. 12 beginning at 5 p.m. through and including Tuesday, Feb. 13, ending at 5 p.m., to accommodate those needing to park downtown,” the release stated.
On-street parking will be prohibited at this time in the following locations:
– East Main Street from First Street to Henderson Street
– East Church Street from Bellefonte Avenue to North Jay Street
– East Water Street from North Vesper Street to North Jay Street
– North Grove Street from East Church Street to East Water Street
– North Vesper Street from East Church Street to East Water Street
– All of Bellefonte Avenue
