LOCK HAVEN – Motorists are asked to avoid the intersection of Water and Jay streets Wednesday following a water main break in the area in the morning.
“The Jay and Water Street intersection is closed to all traffic due to a water main break. Traffic lanes are limited in the area,” Sheriff Kerry Stover shared in a release on social media.
Detours are currently in place as Lock Haven’s Public Works Department works to repair the break.
According to workers on the scene, they hope to complete the work by the end of Wednesday.
Sheriff Stover said individuals who are coming to the Clinton County Courthouse – located at the intersection – are asked to park in the rear parking lot at the intersection of Jay and Main streets.
The front entrance of the courthouse remains open at this time, he said.
