People gathered on the patio at Stella A's for the announcement of the 2024 Summer Concert Series schedule.
LOCK HAVEN -- The City of Lock Haven is ready to kick off its 2024 Summer Concert series.
An event was held Tuesday afternoon on the Stella A's patio to showcase the upcoming performances.
The schedule, which includes three performances on Main Street, six performances at Triangle Park, and seven performances at the J. Doyle Corman Amphitheater and Floating Stage offers a variety of music including blues, rock, jazz, country and bluegrass.
This year, there will once again be Friday night concerts at Triangle Park and the Grove & Main Street Stage.
Friday night concerts begin on June 28, at Triangle Park, with The Sultanz!
Other performances at Triangle Park include:
-- Heather Olson and the Silver Eagle Band on July 5
-- Kate and the Alchemists on July 12
-- Flashback on July 19
-- Biscuit Jam on Aug. 2
Working with the Downtown Lock Haven, Inc.'s Final Friday schedule, the series will have Mixtape on the Main Street Stage on July 26.
The Summer Concert Series Committee is excited to collaborate with LH Jams once again for the last Friday night concert on Main Street, featuring Velveeta!
All concerts will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., and those interested in attending the free concert are invited to bring their own chair or enjoy the band while dining at one of downtown's unique restaurants during the Pedestrian Mall!
Halfway to Hell will kick off the summer concerts on the river at the J. Doyle Corman Amphitheater and Floating Stage on Sunday, June 30.
The schedule also includes:
-- Into the Spin on July 7
-- Flight Risk on July 14
-- Trip the Light on July 21
-- Kilmaine Saints on July 28
-- Parrot Beach on Aug. 4
Finishing the series on the river is the Gabe Stillman Band on August 11.
Once again, the Summer Concert Series has partnered with the Clinton County Arts Council and the LH Jams Festival with a Saturday concert on Main Street on Aug. 10, featuring Central City Orchestra.
The Sunday evening concerts will take place from 6:30-9 p.m.
This year's schedule will be published on the city's website at www.lockhavenpa.gov, as well as on the city's Civil Space and Facebook pages.
Schedules will be available at the first concert on Friday, June 28, at Triangle Park and every concert, as supplies last.
The free summer concert series is made possible by sponsorships and community donations.
