A Farwell Sanitation and Disposal Commercial garbage vehicle caught on fire just after 7 a.m. on Monday morning in the parking lot of the Green Lantern Bar and Grill. The driver was making a typical Monday morning collection when the fire began in the cab. Much of the fire was contained to that area, but as local fire crews arrived on scene Some of the fire did begin to spread to the back of the truck. Seen here the truck had been doused in the foam used for this type of vehicle fire as local fireman use tools to check the temperature confirming that the fire is out. Renovo Fire Department Station 29, Citizens Hose Company 28 of South Renovo and Chapman Township Station 29 all responded and took part in the quick knockdown.
