The Keystone Central School District Board of Directors continues to rebuild its board following multiple openings with the appointment of Richard Wykoff to its Region VIII seat. The board appointed Wykoff following a special interview, where they interviewed him and candidate Lou Sycz. At it’s special voting session following the interviews, the board voted 4-3 to appoint Wykoff. Voting for Wykoff were board members Shelby Bohartz, Roger Kshir, Manny Rodriguez and Chris Scaff. Voting for Sycz were board members Dr. Bill Baldino, Elisabeth Lynch and John Miller. Pictured is Wykoff as he’s sworn in on Tuesday night following the vote. With this appointment, the board awaits a decision by the Clinton County Court of Common Pleas to fill its Region IV vacancy. The vacancy remained after the board failed to appoint a candidate in January. Further information about the special meeting will be included in Thursday’s edition of The Express in print and online.

Starting at $3.69/week.
