Students, staff evacuated from Keystone Central CTE building for reported fire

Update from Keystone Central School District as of 10:18 a.m.:

There has been a small smoke incident at the Central Mountain High School. All students are being evacuated and no students or staff were injured.

Student drivers will be allowed to leave school immediately.

Buses will be taking the rest of the students home in the next hour.

Parents and guardians are advised NOT to pick up their children.

Fire departments from Lock Haven and other surrounding areas responded to Keystone Central Drive Thursday morning for reports of a fire in the Career and Technical Education Center at Keystone Central School District. According to reports from the scene, students and staff were being evacuated and no injuries were reported. The Express will continue to provide additional information as it becomes available.
