BELLEFONTE — Thousands of ballots were cast in Centre County on election night. For the Centre County Board of Commissioners, Incumbent Steven Dershem and newcomer Marie Librizzi on the Republican ballot received 18,501 and 16,135 votes respectively as of 11:59 p.m. election night; incumbents Mark Higgins and Amber Concepcion listed on the Democratic ballot received 20,183 and 19,166 votes respectively. Lock Haven City votes on emergency water supply

LOCK HAVEN — Lock Haven City Council held an emergency meeting with the Suburban Water Authority and members of the Central Clinton County Water Filtration Authority, unanimously voting to temporarily connect to city wells in Wayne Township. The city had to lower reservoir levels to keep them up to current standards set by the PA Division of Dam Safety, and as a result the levels have been consistently depleting.
