Donald C. “Don” Geyer, 62, of 7 Grahams Ln., Beech Creek, passed away on Friday, Nov. 23, 2018 at Manor Care, Jersey Shore.

Born on Feb. 10, 1956 in Lock Haven, he was the son of the late Alvin C. and Iva M. (Powers) Geyer.

Don attended the former Sugar Valley High School in Loganton.

He was formerly employed as a cook for Sunset West Restaurant in Pleasant Gap, and earlier in life was employed in the lumber industry.

Don enjoyed hunting and fishing, rides on the mountain “looking for game” and cooking and baking. However, his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by a son Travis Geyer, of Beech Creek; two daughters, Silver Geyer (fiance George McMillan) and Michelle Kephart Geyer, all of Milesburg; a brother James Geyer, of Mill Hall, and a sister Dorothy Welch (Fred), of Lock Haven, and five grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a daughter Talis S. Geyer and a grandson Dillon W. Kephart.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Wayne P. Urbine Funeral Home, Inc., 95 E. Main St., Loganton. Final interment will be held at the convenience of the family in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Rosecrans, Pa.
