Jeffrey G. “Blue” Thompson

Jeffrey G. “Blue” Thompson, 59, of Lock Haven, passed away on Friday, Oct. 18, 2019 at his residence.

He was born in Lock Haven on Feb. 14, 1960, a son of Earl Thompson of Howard and Patricia Cowher Stover of Howard.

Jeff was a member of the Blanchard Church of Christ, the Sons of Italy in Lock Haven, and the Howard V.F.W. He was a big Penn State fan and worked parking cars at Beaver Stadium for 26 years. He enjoyed hunting and was a member of Bald Eagle class of 1978.

He is survived by two daughters, Zoea and Arieona Thompson, both of Lock Haven; a son, Kori Gorham of Pasadena, Md., five grandchildren, and four sisters, Sandra E. (Rick) Koleno of Lock Haven, Lana D. (Rich) Sutton of Port Matilda, Joyce (companion Joe) Shufelt of Howard, and Cathy J. (companion Russ) Nyman also of Howard; a brother, Les C. (companion Lori) Thompson of West Springfield, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded by his sister, Lesa Thompson, and nieces, Krista and Nicole.

Services celebrating his life will be held at the Howard United Methodist Church, 144 Main St., Howard at 6 p.m., on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019 with Pastor Craig Rose officiating. Friends will be received from 3-6 p.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, P.O. Box 108, Howard,Pa. 16841 to assist family with expenses.
