Susan Hollenbach

Susan Dale (Mark) Hollenbach, 73, of Mill Hall, a beloved mother, grandmother and sister passed into the ever-loving arms of Jesus on Jan. 7, 2021, at Williamsport Hospital, due to complications of COVID-19.

Born on March 1, 1947 in Jersey Shore, the eldest daughter of John W and Glendayle S Mark.

Susan was a graduate of Sugar Valley High School, class of 1966.

In August of 1969, she married William R. Hollenbach. He preceded her in death.

Susan is survived by brother, John L. Mark (Brenda) of Liverpool, and sister, Arlene R. Kerstetter (Dennis) of Loganton; two daughters, Vicky L. Baney (Brian) of Port Matilda, Pa., and Billie Sue Hollenbach, of Lock Haven.

Seven grandchildren, who she loved and adored to spend time with, Ashley Tarbay (John) of Houtzdale, Erin Hetzel (Josh) of Bellefonte, Danielle Ferguson (Greg) of Philipsburg, Sarah Harmon of Jersey Shore, Tara Baney of State College, John Dale Brungard, of Mill Hall and Kaden Port of Lock Haven; eight great-grandchildren that put a smile and sparkle in her eyes; Brayden, Jacob, Piper, Hannah, Lucas, Peyton, Zoey, and Harlee; along with many, many nieces and nephews, from all over the country.

Susan had a desire to always help others in any way she could. She would give her last penny or last morsel of food to anyone in need. Daily visits with her neighbor, Memaw brought her great joy.

Her hobbies included crocheting blankets and dish cloths for family and friends, games on her iPad and Facebook and playing cards, Bingo, visiting with friends at the Clinton County Senior Center. But most of all she loved time spent with her family.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Internment will be alongside her mother and father at the Eastville Church of the Brethren, Loganton Pa.
