Margie E. Phillips, 79 of Mill Hall, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021 at Hershey Medical Center.
Born Nov. 23, 1942 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Harris and Lila (Tressler) Beaty.
Margie was a 1960 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
On June 30, 1961 she married her love, Elmer L. Phillips, with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. Margie's world revolved around her family.
In addition to her husband, Elmer Phillips of Mill Hall, she is survived by her children, Tina Phillips, Carl (Kim) Phillips, Boyd Phillips and Neil (Linda) Phillips, all of Mill Hall; three sisters-in-law, Joyce Beaty, Beatrice Killinger and Darlene Phillips; nine grandchildren: Chadd Buskirk, Eric Buskirk, Jessica Phillips, April Phillips, Hunter (Destiney) Phillips, Richie Tressler, Jr., Brent (Jocelyn) Phillips, Alexis Dauberman and Adysyn Phillips; 10 great- grandchildren with one more expected in the spring; and her special companion and dog, Suzie.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Beaty.
Private services will be held at the convenience of her family.
