Carol E. Peluso

Carol E. Peluso, 74 of Mill Hall, passed away Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at UPMC Susquehanna.

Born July 10, 1947 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter to Gordon McKinney and the former Alva Steffey.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pasquale A. Peluso, Sr.; a son, Gordy Peluso; a grandson, Scotty Peluso; a brother, Wayne McKinney; a sister, Mary McKinney; and in-laws, Patty Winner, Vincent Peluso, Flora Peluso and Glenn Ludwig.

She enjoyed spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her life.

She spent every day with her dog, Nick, who was treated like another son.

She loved visiting Florida whenever she got the chance.

She is survived by two daughters, Holly (Anthony) Gillot, of Lock Haven, and Lori Peluso (Carl Johnson), of Avis; two sons, Pasquale (Michelle) Peluso, Jr., of Mocanaqua, and Scott (Wanda) Peluso, of Mill Hall; and a brother, Jeffrey McKinney, of Avis.

Carol is blessed with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister-in-laws, Phyllis (Gary) Heisley of Williamsport, Anna Welch of Mississippi, Mary Probst of McElhattan, Peggy Ludwig of Jersey Shore and Karen (Gary) Palmeter of Trout Run.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore.

A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday until the time of service at Welker Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in the Jersey Shore Cemetery at a later date.
