John E. Lapp

John E. Lapp, 86, husband of the late Lydia S. (King) Lapp of 15 Lapp Lane, Loganton, Pa., passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 24, 2022.

Born in Lancaster, Pa., on Feb. 20, 1936 he was the son of the late Amos E. and Lydia (Esch) Lapp.

He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and was a dairy farmer the majority of his life.

John is survived by four sons Aaron K. Lapp (Anna Mary) of Loganton, Daniel K. Lapp (Barbara) of Greens Fork, Indiana, Isaac K. Lapp (Lydia) of Mill Hall, Pa., and Amos K. Lapp (Sadie) of Mill Hall, Pa., six daughters, Katie Esh (Emanuel) of Loganton, Mayme K. Beiler (Emanuel) of Platteville, Wisconsin, Anna K. Beiler (Elmer) of Platteville, Wisconsin, Naomi K. Stoltzfus (Gideon) of Mill Hall, PA, Susie K. Lapp (Samuel) of White Deer, Pa., and Sylvia K. Fisher (Jacob) of Hagerstown, Indiana and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at 10a.m. at 87 Lapp Lane Loganton, Pa. A viewing will be held from the time of this notice until time of the service at 15 Lapp Lane Loganton, Pa. Final Interment will be held in Mountaintop Amish Cemetery, Loganton, Pa.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Wayne P, Urbine Funeral Home, Inc., 95 East Main St., Loganton, Pa.
