BUTLER — Franklin R. Butler, 70, of W. Park St., Lock Haven, died Dec. 22, 2022. Services will be held this evening at 7 p.m. in the Gedon Funeral Home, 121 W. Main St., Lock Haven. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home from 5 p.m. until time of service.

SHERRY — James A. “Jim” Sherry, 86, of Julian, died Dec. 21, 2022. Graveside services will be held today at 1 p.m. at Centre County Memorial Park in State College.

BROAD — Robert C. Broad, Sr., 86, of Mill Hall, died Dec. 21, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. today at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 310 W. Water St., Lock Haven. Friends and relatives will be received from 1-1:45 p.m. today at the Helt Funeral Chapel, 232 Hogan Blvd., Mill Hall. Burial will be private at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Lock Haven.

EMBICK — Christopher Daniel Embick, 49, of Evanston, Ill., and formerly of Jersey Shore, Pa., died Nov. 28, 2022. Time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 28, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore, Pa.

MOGISH — Margaret Ann “Maggie” Mogish, of Mill Hall, died Dec. 18, 2022. A Celebration of Maggie’s Life will be held on Thursday, Dec. 29, from noon to 3 p.m. at her home, 102 Mogish Lane, Mill Hall.

PURNELL — Thomas Purnell, 72, of Bellefonte, died Nov. 25, 2022. Family and friends are invited to join in a Celebration of Tom’s Life on Friday, Dec. 30, at 1 p.m. at the Centre Church, 119 E. College Ave., Pleasant Gap, the former fire hall. Refreshments will be served. Burial will be private at the family’s convenience.

FOUST — Beverly A. Foust, 85, of Centre Hall, died Dec. 20, 2022. Family and friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 30, at Sprucetown United Methodist Church with the service beginning at 11 a.m. Beverly will be laid to rest next to her husband at Reformed & Lutheran Cemetery in Centre Hall.

CAROCCIA — Laura Elizabeth (Cline) Caroccia, 91, of Jersey Shore, died Dec. 22, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Dec. 30 at St. Luke’s Catholic Chruch, 118 Kendall Ave., Jersey Shore. Burial will follow in the Jersey Shore Cemetery.

DAVIS — Jeffrey Charles “Jeff” Davis, 66, of Lock Haven, died Dec. 10, 2022. A memorial service will be held on Jan. 19, 2023 at 1 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
