MOORE -- James Ralph Moore, 71, of Mill Hall, died May 23, 2023. A Celebration of Jim's Life will be held today at 7 p.m. at Cedar Heights Brethren in Christ Church, 37 Cedar Heights, Mill Hall. Family and friends will be received at the church from 5 p.m. until the time of the service.
YOUNG - Eileen J. Young, 62, of Julian, died May 23, 2023. Family and friends will be received today from 10-11 a.m., at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., at the funeral home. A graveside service will immediately follow at Romola Christian Cemetery in Marsh Creek, rural Howard.
RUSSELL -- Patricia A. Russell, 87, of Flemington, died May 28, 2023. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 1, at 6 p.m. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service.
SHAFFER -- Leland J. 'Sandy' Shaffer, 90, of Mill Hall, died May 23, 2023. Family and friends will be received at the Bald Eagle United Presbyterian Church, 109 Main St., Mill Hall, from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday, June 1, followed by funeral services at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park. A luncheon will be served after the grave side services at the church.
WELSHANS - Charles Bruce Welshans, 89, of Oval, died May 18, 2023. Services will be held on Saturday, June 3, at 11 a.m. in the Oval Church, 6796 S. Route 44 Highway, Jersey Shore, Pa. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until time of service in the church.
SHEASLEY -- Randy D. Sheasley, 66, died May 2, 2023. A Celebration of Life service to honor him will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 5, at Faith Wesleyan Church, Williamsport. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until the service at the church.
MILLER -- Richard D. Miller, of Clarion, Pa., died Jan. 30, 2023. A graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Memorial Park on Wednesday, June 7, at 11 a.m. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life at a luncheon following the service to be held at Giosue Carducci Sons of Italy Lodge, 1 N. Henderson St., Lock Haven, Pa.
MOORE -- Eugene Moore, 57, of McElhattan, died April 18, 2023. A memorial service will be held on June 10 at 12 p.m. with luncheon to follow at Flemington United Methodist, High Street in Flemington.
JOHNSON -- Patricia A. Johnson, 76, of Renovo, died May 13, 2023. A Celebration of Pat's life will be held at the Christian Community Church in South Renovo on Saturday, June 10, at 1 p.m. A private burial will be held in the North Bend Cemetery.
MERKEL -- Dr. Timothy Franklin Merkel, 80, of Winchester, Va., died May 1, 2023. A service to celebrate his life, followed by a reception, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial will be private at Lutheran Church Wall in Mount Heberon Cemetery. A second Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Jersey Shore, Pa.
BRUNGART -- Dean A. Brungart died April 19, 2023. A Celebration of his life for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 25, at 3 p.m. at Summit Hill Wesleyan Church, rural Howard. From 1-3 p.m. there will be a receiving line, followed by the 3 p.m. service, and a meal afterward.
