WILLIAMS — Bonnie J. Williams, 69, of Bolopue Road, Mill Hall, died June 9, 2023. Funeral services will be held today at 11:30 a.m. in the Gedon Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, LLC, 320 Main St., Mill Hall. Family and friends will be received in the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Cedar Hill Cemetery.

SHADLE-SMITH — Krista Shadle-Smith, 46, of McElhattan, died June 8, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, June 14, from 6-8 p.m. at Bald Birds Brewing Co., 220 Shaffer Lane, Jersey Shore.

MERKEL — Dr. Timothy Franklin Merkel, 80, of Winchester, Va., died May 1, 2023. A service to celebrate his life, followed by a reception, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 17, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial will be private at Lutheran Church Wall in Mount Heberon Cemetery. A second Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Jersey Shore, Pa.

GILL — Candace Evonne Gill died Nov. 12, 2022. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 17, at 11 a.m. at the New Hope United Methodist Church, 1089 E. College Ave., Bellefonte, with a reception to follow. Candy requested no black attire.

BRUNGART — Dean A. Brungart died April 19, 2023. A Celebration of his life for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 25, at 3 p.m. at Summit Hill Wesleyan Church, rural Howard. From 1-3 p.m. there will be a receiving line, followed by the 3 p.m. service, and a meal afterward.

BOONE — Grant W. Boone, 95, of Marsh Creek, died March 27, 2023. A memorial service and picnic is planned for June 25 at the Brotherhood Park, Richner Hollow Road, Marsh Creek.
