MERKEL -- Dr. Timothy Franklin Merkel, 80, of Winchester, Va., died May 1, 2023. A service to celebrate his life, followed by a reception, will be held today at 11 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial will be private at Lutheran Church Wall in Mount Heberon Cemetery. A second Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Jersey Shore, Pa.
GILL -- Candace Evonne Gill died Nov. 12, 2022. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life today at 11 a.m. at the New Hope United Methodist Church, 1089 E. College Ave., Bellefonte, with a reception to follow. Candy requested no black attire.
HEPNER -- William W. Hepner, 78, of Cooks Run, died June 11, 2023. A memorial service will be held today at 2 p.m. at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 205 Fifth St., Renovo. Family and friends will be received one hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
MUSSER -- Boyd A. Musser, Jr., 75, of Spring Mills, died June 13, 2023. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, June 18, from 2-6 p.m. at the New Hope Lutheran Church in Spring Mills. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 6 p.m. Interment will be in Heckman Cemetery.
MERRIFIELD -- Willis "Bill" Merrifield, 97, of Pine Creek Township, died June 11, 2023. A life celebration graveside service will be held on Monday, June 19, at 11 a.m. near the chapel at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Woolrich.
BRUNGART -- Dean A. Brungart died April 19, 2023. A Celebration of his life for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 25, at 3 p.m. at Summit Hill Wesleyan Church, rural Howard. From 1-3 p.m. there will be a receiving line, followed by the 3 p.m. service, and a meal afterward.
BOONE -- Grant W. Boone, 95, of Marsh Creek, died March 27, 2023. A memorial service is planned for June 25 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Brotherhood Park, Richner Hollow Road, Marsh Creek. Refreshments will be provided by the family.
GUTHRIE -- Ronald Eugene Guthrie, 65, of Jersey Shore, died June 14, 2023. A memorial gathering of family and close friends will be held on Saturday, July 8, at his daughter Ronni's house from 1-3 p.m.
