David Earl Stover, 72, husband of the late Nancy (Izzett) Stover, of 75 Silver Ave., Mill Hall, passed away at home on Monday, July 31, 2023.
Born in Lock Haven on Jan. 12, 1951, he was the son of the late Nelson A. and Mabel B. (Wance) Stover.
He was a 1969 graduate of Penns Valley High School.
David honorably served and was a veteran of the United States Army.
For many years he was an over the road truck driver as well as a prison guard and was self-employed in the landscaping business.
He is survived by a daughter, Heather Raines, of Bentonville, Ark.; and a sister, Shelvia Jean Griffin, of Spring Mills, Pa.
David enjoyed nature, the outdoors and animals.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family in Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery, Greenburr, Pa.
Contributions are being accepted by the family to offset final expenses.
