McKINNEY -- Jeffrey L. McKinney, 63, of Avis, died Sept. 1, 2023. Funeral services will be held today, at 10:30 a.m., at Helt Funeral Chapel. Family and friends will be received from 10-10:30 a.m. at the funeral chapel. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
ROTE -- Jerry Lynn Rote, 79, of Lock Haven, died Sept. 4, 2023. A funeral service will be held today at 1 p.m., at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Family and friends will be received at 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Private interment will be at St. Agnes Cemetery, Lock Haven.
NEFF -- Family and friends are invited to an informal gathering and Celebration of Life honoring Thomas "Ace" Neff on Saturday, Sept. 9, at 12 p.m. at Riverview Park, Pavilion 2. Food will be provided. Please bring a story to pass.
HILL -- Lauraetta Rae "Toot" Hill, 86, of Lock Haven, died Aug. 7, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 9, at 12 p.m., at Hillview Wesleyan Church, 1200 W. 4th St., Lock Haven. Friends and family will be received at the church on Saturday, Sept. 9, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
BETAR -- Douglas S. Betar, 61, of Plum, died Aug. 27, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, Sept. 9, at 1 p.m. at Living Word of Plum.
WOLFE -- Nancy Ott Wolfe, 79, of Woolrich, died Aug. 28, 2023. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 10, at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, 229 Broad St., Jersey Shore. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. All are invited to remain after the service for a time of fellowship and refreshments.
YOUNG -- Ronald K. Young, Sr., 65, died Sept. 5, 2023. A funeral service with Fireman's Honors will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 11 a.m., at the Dunnstown Fire Company, 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Family and friends will be received at the Dunnstown Fire Company on Tuesday evening from 5-8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
MYERS -- David O. Myers, 60, of Mill Hall, died Aug. 20, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16, from 2-4 p.m. at the V.F.W., 1110 E. Water St., Lock Haven, with the Jersey Shore Honor Guard presenting military honors at 3 p.m.
LUCAS -- Bethany Lyons Mauger Lucas, 44, died at home in Lynn Haven, Fla, on Aug. 20, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Sept.16, at 10 a.m., at the St. John's Episcopal Church, on the corner of N. Allegheny St. and W. Lamb St. in Bellefonte, with Deacon Alex Dyakiw officiating. In Beth's honor, her family has requested guests to dress casually and comfortably, wearing their favorite pair of sneakers.
WOLF -- Kline R. "Skip" Wolf, 77, of Howard, died June 10, 2023. A memorial service will be held at the J. K. Yearick Center, Howard Fire Hall, on Sunday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m.
RICHNER -- Shirley L. Richner, 85, of Marsh Creek, died June 26, 2023. A memorial service will be announced later this fall.
AIKEY -- Clifford E. "Coke" Aikey, 97, of Bellefonte, died July 21, 2023. A Celebration of Life is being planned and will be held later this fall.
MUSSER -- Robert "Bob" Musser, 73, of Spring Mills, died Aug. 4, 2023. A Celebration of Life service is being planned and will be announced at a later date.
KOCH -- Marie L. (Yarnell) Koch, 87, of Clintondale, died Aug. 23, 2023. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family and will be announced through the Gedon Funeral Home in Mill Hall.
