NEFF -- Lawrence E. Neff, 89, died Sept. 3. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., today at the Helt Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Dennis A. Smith officiating. Friends and relatives will be received from 10-10:30 a.m. at the funeral chapel.
KLINE -- Stanley D. Kline, 90, of Lock Haven, died Sept. 7. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. today at Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. at Welker Funeral Home.
YOUNG -- Ronald K. Young, Sr., 65, died Sept. 5, 2023. A funeral service with Fireman's Honors will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 13, at 11 a.m., at the Dunnstown Fire Company, 119 Woodward Ave., Lock Haven. Family and friends will be received at the Dunnstown Fire Company on Tuesday evening from 5-8 p.m. and again on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
MOORE -- Richard Brooks Moore, 84, died Sept. 7. A memorial gathering will be held at the Frederick B. Welker Funeral Home, 125 N. Main St., Jersey Shore on Thursday, Sept. 14, from 4 to 6 p.m.
BAUMAN -- Charles Robert Bauman, of Swissdale, died Sept. 9, 2023. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 14 at 11 a.m. at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Burial services will follow at Swissdale Cemetery. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
LUCAS -- Bethany Lyons Mauger Lucas, 44, died at home in Lynn Haven, Fla, on Aug. 20, 2023. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, Sept.16, at 10 a.m., at the St. John's Episcopal Church, on the corner of N. Allegheny St. and W. Lamb St. in Bellefonte, with Deacon Alex Dyakiw officiating. In Beth's honor, her family has requested guests to dress casually and comfortably, wearing their favorite pair of sneakers.
SHUEY -- Dr. Dennis H. Shuey died Sept. 2. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Sept. 16 at Sunrise United Methodist Church, 5420 Sunset Lake Road, Holly Springs, N.C. Friends may visit with the family at 10 a.m. prior to the memorial service. An additional memorial service is scheduled at Flemington United Methodist Church, High Street, Flemington, on Sept. 30. Visitation with family at 10 a.m., with memorial service commencing at 11 a.m.
MYERS -- David O. Myers, 60, of Mill Hall, died Aug. 20, 2023. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16, from 2-4 p.m. at the V.F.W., 1110 E. Water St., Lock Haven, with the Jersey Shore Honor Guard presenting military honors at 3 p.m.
BENNETT -- Clara F. Bennett, 76, of Muncy, died Sept. 2, 2023. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 23 at First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy. Inurnment will take place at First United Methodist Church Columbarium following the service. Friends will be received at the conclusion of the ceremonies.
YOHE -- Elizabeth "Holly" Achenbach Yohe died Sept. 4. A Celebration of Life service will be hosted on Nov. 25 at 2 p.m. at the Williamsburg Presbyterian Church. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Salvation Army in Holly's name.
