Trent Loye Holderman, 40, of Harrisburg, passed away on Monday, Dec. 11, 2023.
Born on April 6, 1983 in Bellefonte, he was the son of Greg Holderman, of Bellefonte, and Emily V. Spicer and stepfather, Gregg Moore, of Harrisburg.
Trent was a 2001 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. He went on to earn his Associate Degree from Anne Arundel Community College in Maryland in 2005. After school, he worked as the General Manager for Great Clips of Central PA.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Richard and Joan Houtz, of Bellefonte; three half-sisters, Sherry Guardiola, of Riesel, Texas, Rae Lee Holderman and Trina Holderman, both of Butler, Pa.; and three stepbrothers, Storm Comley, of Sarver, Pa., VJ Callahan, of Altoona, and Vern Callahan, of Johnstown. Also surviving are aunts and uncles, Ronald Spicer, David Spicer (Kathy), James Holderman (Nancy) and Cindy Walizer (Scott); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Mary Spicer, of Bellefonte; and an aunt, Sharon Spicer.
Trent was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and a long-time collector of baseball cards. He also had an ingrained intelligence about him, especially when it came to business. Those who were lucky enough to know him will easily recall his warm-heartedness and compassion for others.
Trent was always the champion for the "underdog" in any situation. If he were to cross paths with someone, and they needed help of any kind, Trent would do anything in his power to help and bring a smile to their face.
Trent was loved by many, but he was especially close with his nieces and nephews. He leaves behind countless memories that his family and friends will forever cherish. His innate ability to relate to others and treat them with such kindness will live on in his younger family members who looked at him as a role model.
