Kenneth Charles Poole was born Jan. 11, 1958 in Woodbury, N.J., and passed away Jan. 20, 2024, at the age of 66, surrounded by his family.
He was a 1975 graduate of State College High School. He went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Army. He then started his own painting business.
Kenneth was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a lifelong member of the American Legion and very much enjoyed having fun and meeting new people. He spent most of his time in the presence of his grandchildren and watching sports.
Kenneth is survived by his daughter, Kaleena (Michael) Spayd; and four granddaughters, Khaya, Macey, Bailey and Norah.
He is also survived by his chosen sons, Woodrow Confer and Joey Confer; and he and Mitzi's Love-bird, Luna.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Harriet E. Cowher; his best friend, Mitzi J. Confer; along with cousins and friends who he called "Brother."
Family and friends will be received from 6-7 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024, at Singer Kader Neff Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 135 W. Main St., Howard.
Memorial services will begin at 7 p.m. with Pastor Michael Covalt officiating.
